Centro delivers energy savings, through lighting HVAC and shading automations controlling the energy usage within the spaces.
A Crestron installation is finished. The lighting scenes work, the climate control responds and the touch panels look the part. The integrator hands over, and the client asks a simple question: who looks after the building now?
Who notices when a processor drops offline at 3 am? Who sets the lobby lights to change with the seasons, or checks that the meeting rooms reset every evening? And how does a guest in room 214 turn down the air conditioning without hunting for a panel?
Usually the answer is another platform: another server in the rack, another vendor and another contract. Centro System Manager for Crestron takes a different approach.
Building management on the processor
System Manager runs on site, on the Crestron 4-Series processor that is already part of the project. There's no extra server and no extra hardware to quote, install or support. It works with both Crestron Home and Crestron Custom installations. It's built for the places where many rooms need managing as one: hotel suites, villas and resorts, managed residential buildings, serviced offices, commercial tenancies and mixed-use sites.
Free on every processor
Every System Manager installation starts with a free foundation, and it stays free. It gives you:
- Monitoring of every processor on site
- Email alerts when something needs attention
- Event history, so you can see what happened and when
- Administration of users, settings and connected systems
That's enough on its own to stop the 3 am problem going unnoticed until the morning.
Manager Licence: the whole site on one screen
The Manager Licence adds location dashboards and schedules in the browser. Operators see every room and space at a glance, and routines run on their own. The lobby lighting changes at dusk and empty rooms go into standby, with nobody needing to remember to do it.
User App Licence: control in every guest's hand
The User App Licence lets guests, residents and staff control their space from a phone, tablet or touch screen. They scan a time-limited QR link, so access lasts as long as the stay or the booking and then ends.
API Licence: connect what you already use
For sites that run other systems, the API Licence opens REST and MCP access to rooms and stays. That includes links to property management systems such as Oracle OPERA Cloud, OPERA 5, Mews and Apaleo.
Yours for good
Every licence is perpetual and works on every release. The Manager and User App Licences include setup support from the Centro team: a couple of remote sessions to get the site running the way you want it.
