Software licence

Software provided by S.I. Sound and Light Ltd, trading as Lighting Control (LCD), whether downloaded from our website or installed directly on your Crestron Home system with the Crestron Home Setup App (which downloads it through the drivers.crestron.io portal), is subject to a licence. Registered in Scotland, company number SC223987. Registered office: 4 Lothian Bank, Eskbank, EH22 3AN.

Licences can be bought from our website. By installing the software on your Crestron Home system you accept these terms.

Warranty and limits of liability

• We warrant that your software programs will be supplied to you with reasonable care and skill.
• We will not be liable to you for any losses arising out of any event or events beyond our reasonable control.
• We will not be liable to you for any business losses, including (without limitation) loss of or damage to profits, income, revenue, use, production, anticipated savings, business, contracts, commercial opportunities or goodwill.
• We will not be liable to you for any loss or corruption of any data, database or software.
• We will not be liable to you for any special, indirect or consequential loss or damage.
• We will use our best efforts to maintain the functionality of the software programs as described in the software datasheet. Bug fixes will be provided where the software falls short of reasonable acceptance tests.
• Where the software controls third-party devices, or relies on third-party operating systems, no warranty is given for the reliability of the controlled device, for changes to the device protocol, or for the operating system it runs on.
• The licence cost does not include the cost of uninstalling and reinstalling software, or any commissioning, set-up and testing needed because of a bug fix or a free upgrade.
• Software products that offer extended functionality for the same device or function may be offered in the future as separate products to purchase.
